Get to know us better
New European Strategies is working towards a vision of a more secure international order, strengthening Europe’s trade relations with the world. Our aim is to define the future of European security and educate young European elites.
We are creating a vital forum for developing mechanisms and cooperation in the areas of security, energy, finance and banking, transport, diplomacy and other economic and political areas.
The think-tank aims to be an integrator of different business sectors by creating the necessary discussion forums. We take steps to improve business cooperation mechanisms and encourage the development of joint projects between stakeholders from different industries.
We focus our activities primarily on providing valuable analyses for decision-makers and businesses in our areas of expertise.
Our recommendations are intended to serve as a ‘roadmap’ for decision-makers and businesses when making key decisions.
The geopolitical game of powers is returning to Power Politics, abandoning the constructivist international order. Regional powers are consolidating their influence in the immediate neighbourhood and expanding it, competing for advantage in so-called ‘crumple zones’.
This creates a problem in international manoeuvring for medium-sized states. They must skilfully create a system of alliances and selectively identify areas for modernising their economic and military potential.
The moment that woke the world up was the annexation of Crimea by the Russian Federation. Britain’s exit from the European Union changed the balance of power in Europe. The international economic order faced the challenge of separating supply chains. The COVID-19 pandemic greatly accelerated emerging trends of global polycentrisation.
The big test for the international order and the agility of states is the ongoing war in Ukraine.
What really counts in the game of powers is the ability to play with one’s power in time and space, not the game of statistics.
Far far away, behind the word mountains, far from the countries Vokalia and Consonantia, there live the blind texts. Separated they live in Bookmarksgrove right at the coast
